Happy Birthday Mr. Internet
The internet is 40 years old today. Can you believe it? It only seems like yesterday… only joking I am not that old.
October 29th was when one message was sent from one computer to another… the message consisted of one word with three letters …. “Log” but the computer crashed and only “LO” was received.

It may be 40 years old, but it's only in the last decade that it's really progressed into mainstream usage and become a part of daily life.
When I finished university back in 1998, it was still in its infancy! Students didn't even have their own email accounts!
